MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

 Fellow Rotarians,

The classification interviews of Rtn.David Ravenscroft and Rtn.Joe Scuderi last Friday was quite an entertaining program. As I have mentioned numerous times, the classification interview is a great opportunity for us to get to know more about our fellow Rotarians. These Rotarians, humble in their own ways, are successful in their professions. It is a good testament that we join Rotary to seek opportunities to help the less fortunate and people in need.

As we progress through the Rotary year, we are seeing and hearing a lot of news each week. Whether it be the result of the US Presidential Election or the ongoing protests happening locally to mention but a few, this news can either keep us at peace or drive us to the edge of our seats. Most importantly, the recent news about Pfizer’s discovery of a potential vaccine for the coronavirus has excited most countries. Although it may be a bit too soon to pop the champagne, it does bring a lot of hope which is what we all need at the moment. Let’s hope for more good news.

This Friday, we will welcome Rtn.Jerry Nelson with his talk on “Rotary Action Group Against Slavery Preventing Child Human Trafficking”. This shall be another interesting topic on how to play our own role in preventing this evil business how to be an even bigger part of the prevention.

Looking forward to seeing many Rotarians this Friday.

Have a great weekend.

President Yod Tantianunanont
